If you are a participant that has completed the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) New Enterprise Allowance (NEA) Mentoring scheme, and is looking for a personal loan between £500 and £2,500 to start your business, please make an application through this website.

Please note that completing the DWP NEA Mentoring Scheme does not mean you will automatically receive an NEA Start Up Loan and that loans are granted in increments of £500.

The NEA Start Up Loan is a personal loan for those participants that have completed the DWP NEA Mentoring Scheme and are looking to access funding from £500 to £2,500 to start their business. The NEA Start Up Loans are funded by the Start Up Loans Company and delivered by Newable.

For applicants that are looking to apply for a personal loan over £2,500 please visit to access Start Up Loans funding up to £25,000. Please note that the Start Up Loans funding will require additional documentation and has different assessment criteria.
